Whoa? Cameron Nara? And Miss Penny knows him!? Who the heck is he?
"Cameron? What happened? WHAT!?" Miss Penny screamed. She hiccuped and began to sob. She buried her face into her palms.
"Who are you, butt head? And what the heck are you doing?!" I yelled. Cameron smirked at me, which made me even more enraged.
"Why don't you ask your teacher? SHE knows why anyway!" Cameron said.
"Miss Penny..." I mumbled.
"Cameron! CAMERON!!!" she sobbed again.
"I don't want to know your history! I want you to get out! Or I'll..." I said. Cameron cackled.
"Try me," he said, "I'm game." I rushed at him and he swooped up easily. I tried again and he swooped around me.
I haven't been taught this, but the only way to do this is to think the spells and not be noticed by him. That way, I'll be able to catch him by surprise. I thought. I closed my eyes while flying, praying to God that I wouldn't hit something...
Invisibility!! I thought. Then I quickly thought the three steps of casting. Think, Clear, Become. I opened my eyes and saw my enemy. I looked down and saw my invisible self. Guess I'm clear.
"Pretty smart, kiddo. You learned how to mind-cast," Cameron said, "I'll go easy on you, for now."
I slowly flew around, hoping that he wouldn't feel a breeze from my flapping. Then, I came behind him and rushed straight at him. He turned around in surprise and flew up a second before I could hit him.
"I'll tell you that I underestimated you, kiddo. I'll give you that," he said. I became visible again and found myself panting a little. "Don't think that I'm still going easy. It's play time."
I then burst into flames. I rushed at him with a scowl on my face.
"Don't burn up! You'll just get smoldered!" he said, playfully. Suddenly, the fire was gone and my body was covered up in a very thin layer of soot. I got even more pissed.
"What are you?!" I said.
"Hasn't Miss Penny told you anything about casting? This kind of casting is a forbidden one. Forbidden castings are both banned in the dark and light. Both fear this kind of art could bring back the dead in the past and bring us forward to the future. They also fear this kind of cast is one that can heal and kill someone instantly," Cameron said.
"But, wouldn't that be helpful?" I questioned.
"You sure got a lot to learn, kiddo. Of course its helpful! But, its also dangerous. It can cause a rebellion in leadership and a wars that could go on forever. You can accidentally revive enemies instead of dead allies. For everything, there is a price," Cameron explained, "But, Miss Penny thought otherwise."
A loud sob cried from below.
"SHUT UP!!!" I yelled as I rushed him again with fire. He smirked again and set them out.
"Fire ends up as soot in the end. I just sent your fire in the future, kiddo," he said. I started to panic. This isn't going as well as I thought. Soon, my panic grew to anger.
"Give it up already, kiddo. It's too late now. You can't change the future or the past!" Cameron said.
"NEVER!!!" I yelled. This time, I burst into flames. But, these flames felt different than my regular bursts. This kind of fire was hotter and brighter and more amazing. Miss Penny looked up at us with widened tear streaked eyes.
"I told you, kiddo. I'll just-" he said, before he stopped speaking. His eyes widened in fear. What's going on I didn't care about. All I thought about was him being defeated.
I decided to try and search through his mind. There has to be a cast for that, right? Think. I thought about brains and magic. Clear Mind. Blank mind? Check. Become. Soon, I was able to go in his mind.
"What? Why can't I put out the fire? What's going on?" it echoed. I came out of his mind and rushed right at him. He flew back faster.
"Dark Shield!" he yelled. A dark bubble encased him. Darker than the air, which was a deep purple. I just kept going. The fire started to be even hotter, but I wasn't burned or anything. God, lets keep moving. I rammed through his shield a couple times until it cracked open. He looked at me in terror as I rammed through him. I went right through him. Did I miss?
A yell of pain echoed all around me. I looked up. His chest had a ripped hole that went through him. I must have hit a vital point. It was so disgusting, I felt as if I was going to throw up. I turned off the fire, smirked at him, and rushed back to Miss Penny.
"Are you okay?" I asked as I rubbed her back.
"I'll be fine," Miss Penny said, "So will Cameron."
"What?! I hit a vital spot! Straight at the chest!" I said.
"Remember, child. He can heal himself and his own body. That wasn't his vital point. You need to hit him wherever his true heart is," she gulped.
"That doesn't make sense! I'm not a genius, but I know that your heart's in the square of your chest!" I said.
"He hid his own true heart. It's not in his body," she whispered.
"That's...that's crap! You can't take your heart out and still live!" I yelled.
"He's from the Nara bloodline. His blood is from a special family which can take out body parts and still live. It includes the heart," Miss Penny said. I looked up and saw that his chest was back to normal.
"You're a monster!" I screamed.
"You're not bad, kiddo. Guess I really overestimated ya. Don't think this is it. I'm coming back," he warned as he flew off in the darkness. I turned back to Miss Penny and softened my voice.
"Let's get going, ma'am," I said. Miss Penny nodded and flew up with a tear streaked face.
What else is coming? I don't give a crap about it, but I needed to train harder. If I want to beat him.
"Hey, Miss Penny?" I asked. She looked up.
"What do you know about Cameron Nara?" I asked.

Chapter 8
Let's sum up what we've seen so far.
1) Earth = Hell. Pretty scary.
2) We're angels of light. Emphasis on light.
3) We're being attacked by the Dark Society.
The dark winged thing disappeared. Lyon and I looked around.
"Faith! Xander! Fly upward! Get out!" I yelled. They stared and saw the scared look on my face. Knowing that I'm one of the most fiercest people, they backed off and flew back up to the Arc Of Light.
"Zoe, Lyon. You guys should leave too. This could get ugly," Miss Penny said.
"What?! Are you out of your mind!?" Lyon yelled.
"We're so not leaving you!" I said. Miss Penny sighed.
"GO!" she said. Lyon being Lyon and me being me, we didn't. We're one of the most stubborn people (or angels?) of all time. We're not going to back out of this.
"Shadow Serene!" Miss Penny said. She stared around and started flying in one direction. Then, she turned. I still couldn't see anything except for this madhouse.
"LYON!" Miss Penny yelled. He turned around, but it was too late. The dark angel came up behind him.
"Eye of Paralysis!" the dark angel guy said. His eyes started to turn a fierce yellow. Lyon stopped flapping his wings and fell.
"Lyon!" I said. I caught him just before he fell onto the ground. Surprisingly, he was lighter than before. But, where could I put him?
"Angel Cloud Technique!" Miss Penny yelled. A bed with the made of clouds appeared in front of us. It had wings too, just like an angel. Pure white. I placed Lyon and the cloud flew up to the Arc Of Light.
"Dancing Swords!" Miss Penny yelled. A bunch of swords were summoned and were heading straight for the dark angel.
"Time Arc!" the dark angel said. The swords stopped and fell to the ground.
"Time Arc?! You're-" Miss Penny cried.
"Cameron Nara, Dark Angel," he finished.
"Huh?" I said.
"What-what happened to you?!" Miss Penny wailed.

Chapter 7
"So, class, let's work on our invisibility skills," our teacher, Miss Amy, said, "Get in a line and let's see what you guys can do." Miss Amy was another teacher at the Academy of Light.
Two days have passed since the window breaking, cut healing incident and we're at the academy. We're put in this more advanced class called Advanced 1. Of course, it includes me, Lyon, Faith, and Xander.
I, being the leader, went straight ahead to the line, known that I can do this. Even though I've just learned it today. Lyon, Xander, and Faith nervously came up behind me. Everyone else followed their lead, going up one by one looking nervous.
"Newbies, going first? Pretty interesting. Tell me, what's your name again?" Miss Amy said.
"Zoe Gi. And no, I really don't prefer to be called 'newbie'," I replied. Miss Amy turned a bit red.
"Go ahead, Zoe. Let's see what you got," she said.
I took a deep breath and remembered the steps Miss Amy gave me. Focus, Clear Your Mind, Become. Okay, dude. You can do this. Focus, Clear Your Mind, Become. Focus. I thought thoughts about magic, the invisible gateway to the Arc of Light. Clear Your Mind. Get rid off every worry, every little thing. Become. Invisible.
I looked around. Everyone was staring at me, including Lyon, Faith, Xander. Even Miss Amy. I looked at my hands. Or where they should be. All I saw was open air. I started to panic, thinking that my conscience floated off to La La Land. Then, I felt them brush against my hip.
I became.
"Zoe..." Faith started, but couldn't finish.
"So, ma'am. Did I do okay?" I asked. I clearly hated it when this happens. Everyone gaping at me and I have no clue why. Miss Amy didn't answer. All she did was stop the gaping, smile, and clap. Lyon followed and everyone else did after that. I think I heard Xander give a little whoop.
Everyone's spirits were lifted after that. Lyon and the rest of the team stepped forward and did their thing. Everyone else followed. Soon, I was congratulated by the whole class.
"Great job, class! You're now Tied with the spell!" she said happily. And everyone cheered.
"Wait, Tied?" I asked a fellow student.
"It means you're allowed to use this spell freely throughout your life. You can use it whenever you want," he replied. Then, he started to pump his fist in the air. That's when I felt something clap upon my shoulders. I jumped and saw no one was there. Then, Lyon appeared out of nowhere.
"Gotcha!" he said with his lopsided smile.
"That's it?" I said, when the academy day was over.
"That's right, Zoe. You just have this class and its done. One class per day. Each day, there's a new class waiting for you," Miss Penny, the school headmaster, said. We were about to leave until Miss Penny said to wait. We stopped dead in our tracks.
"I want to show you something. Something that only angels in commission can only see," Miss Penny said. Xander turned around immediately.
"Why?" he said.
"This is important. I have a feeling you'll be in Intermediate Classes soon enough. I mean, look at you guys. You're the talk of the school. You learned one of the hardest spells in Advanced Class in about an hour and thirty minutes. Miss Noelle can't even believe. She thinks you're pretty special in everything. I mean, she told us to let you skip Beginner," she explained.
"Fine, let's have it," I said. Miss Penny walked out of the room and we followed her to someplace I haven't seen.
"This is the Commission Dock. You leave out of this. We're going to go on a little tour here," she said. She leaped off the cloud island and took a nosedive. We followed. Miss Penny kept going until we could see Earth.
"This is Earth," she said.
"Uh, yeah. Can you skip to the part where we can see what you're talking about?" I said.
"Focus, Zoe. It takes focus to see beyond," Miss Penny said.
But, focus on what?, I thought. It's just plain old land down below. Nothing to see. Nothing in this friggin' wasteland.
"Whoa," Lyon said. I looked back at him and he looked terrified. Something you don't see everyday. I started to laugh.
"C'mon, Lyon! It's just Earth. What's wrong?" I cried out. Lyon started to turn pale. Okay, that was serious. Lyon was definitely seeing something other than this.
Okay, time to focus. Miss Amy said you can use those steps to do anything. I closed my eyes. Focus. It was obviously something you need to see so I thought of ravens' eyes and telescopes. Clear Your Mind. Obviously time to wipe out your worries, your fears, even though I sort of felt scared myself. I stayed like this for a couple of minutes. Become. What to become, I had no freaking idea, but I opened my eyes and-
"KYAAHH!!!" I yelled. I flew up and grabbed on to Lyon's hand.
"First time I've ever seen you freak out like that. I thought you said it was 'just Earth'," he cackled.
"Shut up! It's serious! How in hell could that- We've been walking on this chaos?!" I said. Oh wait, have I explained it?
You see, you see wonderful green trees and rushing water, but you need to look a little closer. The world isn't your Mother Nature style. It's like, like...HELL. Your trees are bare and ghostly white. Your rushing water is a dark purple made up of tears and poison. Grass is just sand. The sky is always dark, no sun, no moon. Buildings are gone, arenas have disappeared, and you got no houses. Dead spirits are wandering the Earth, trying to find a way out.
"They see. The dead ones see this...bleep," I said.
"I know, Zoe. It's..." Miss Penny started, but couldn't finish. All we saw was the cold true world.
"Wait, what the heck are you guys looking at?" blurted Xander.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Faith said.
"God," Lyon muttered.
"You guys really don't want to see this crap," I said.
"Wait, what about that poor man? He's bleeding and beaten up!" Faith yelled. I turned around and saw this body lying on the ground pouring some-
"Holy crap!! What's pouring out of his body?! Crud!" Lyon yelled.
"Calm down, Lyon," Miss Penny said.
"Blood, idiot! It's blood!" Xander said.
"You mean-" I started.
"That's right. Your eyes are like veiled with something angels' call "The OverShadow". This is the true world. This is were you grew up. And the blood looks black because its contaminated with the OverShadow," Miss Penny explained.
"What'cha mean? It's red, not black!" Faith yelled. She waved her body around frantically.
"What's that glow coming off of her?" I asked, "And Lyon, and me, and you?!"
"Light angels have this omitted glow coming out of their body. Cause, we're light," Miss Penny said.
"Then, what's that dark glow emitting to that winged thing?" Lyon asked. I looked around and it was heading toward us.
"That's...a dark angel! How-" Miss Penny mumbled. I didn't care. All I cared about was protecting my friends.
Two days have passed since the window breaking, cut healing incident and we're at the academy. We're put in this more advanced class called Advanced 1. Of course, it includes me, Lyon, Faith, and Xander.

Chapter 6
"Zoe," Faith called in our dorm.
"What is it now?" I asked.
"I was just wondering if I could watch the Grammys tonight. I really want to see if some of my favorite artists made it," Faith asked.
"Faith, you know that-" I started, before I made the mistake at looking at Zoe. She had those puppy eyes on. That's my greatest weakness.
"You know what, let's go watch. Whatever. It reminds me if Bruno Mars made it," I said. Faith squealed. She got the remote and went to the show.
"Aw, crap. It already started!" she said.
"Dude, shut it. Just watch," I retorted. Faith looked a little hurt, but I was already tired and wanted to get this over with.
I heard the door creak. I jumped to my feet and said come in. In came Xander and Lyon.
"What's up? Our TV is broken, so we came to see how you guys are doing," Lyon said holding his hand up.
"Grammys are on? Sweet!" Xander said. He rushed to TV and sat down on our posh sofa next to Faith. Faith scooted over a bit. Lyon and I made our way to the kitchen.
"Your room is cool. It's like ours', but a bit more fancier," Lyon observed.
"I bet your place is less fancier than ours. More of my style," I stated. Lyon smiled.
"You know, it used to be like this too, but I found a cool trick. C'mon , let's get to your room," Lyon said. He slid off the stool and amazingly found my room.
I flopped on the bed and said, "So, what?" Lyon smiled again.
"Purple," he said. Suddenly, the room changed its whole appearance and personality. There was a purple wallpaper decorated with huge scratch-and-smell grape stickers on the wall. The fan had grape vines on it and a grape emitting a purple light through it in the center. My bed was all purple with splotches of different shades of purple on them. I even had a grape pillow. My chair was shaped as a grape.
"That...is....so....AWESOME!" I yelled. Lyon smiled again.
"If you don't like it, you can always change it later. I said the word 'lion' and it's so amazing. My walls are covered in lion fur!" Lyon said excitedly. I widened my eyes.
"Okay then, 'Egyptian'," I said. Instantly, my room was decorated Egyptian style. My bed had drapes which were covered in amulets. My bed was almost like a sarcophagus and the mattress was a Tempur-pedic. There was a little flowing around my bed and the walls had pyramids on them. From the ceiling, pictures of Egyptian gods were hanging. My fan was made of papyrus and had a bright light glowing from the center.
"Okay, this is pretty cool," Lyon said, sitting in my throne.
Then, I heard the windows break.
"Rolling in the Deeeeep!" Faith sang. Lyon and I rushed out of my bedroom.
"Xander! Give me stats!" I ordered.
"Faith and I were watching the Grammies and then Adele came up to do her performance. Faith started to sing along and when it got to the high note, the window broke!" he yelled.
"It doesn't look broken," Lyon said. He tapped on the window. I could see all the cracks sealing up already.
"What? That's not possible! I even got cut!" Xander said. I looked at his hands. The cuts on them were slowly fading away, leaving the tiniest scars I could ever see. Then, they disappeared.
"Okay, I think you have to go. Lyon, thanks for the tip. C'mon Faith. We're done," I proclaimed.
"'Kay, See ya, Zoe," Lyon said as Xander and him walked out the door.
"Faith. It's time to go to bed," I said. Faith looked upset, but went to her room.
I was about to turn out the lamp when I heard Faith say "Justin Bieber" in her room.
God, I'm not going into her room anymore.
"What is it now?" I asked.
"I was just wondering if I could watch the Grammys tonight. I really want to see if some of my favorite artists made it," Faith asked.

Chapter 5
"Thank God those tests are over. All I want is some food and a nice plush bed," Faith said. I guess she was right, we hadn't had proper sleep and we haven't had anything to eat since the jailhouse, which only fed us stale bread.
Meanwhile, Xander and Hannah were catching up on things. I guess they could be brother and sister: same brown hair and freckles and green eyes.
I stared all around us. We were finally in the Arc Of Light. The place was so bright, so full of joy. Laughter and happiness was everywhere.
"So, Hannah. Where are we going?" I asked.
"To see Miss Noelle, of course. She lives in the Castle of the Sun. Maybe she'll take you to orientation or something," Hannah, who looked more perked up and alert.
We kept walking down golden streets, ignoring stares of other angels, and found ourselves in a castle to the clouds.
"So, how do we get in?" Lyon asked. The castle had no door or window to climb through, except for the ver top, which had a window big enough to fit an elephant.
"Obvious. Fly to the top," Hannah said, already extending her wings. Xander followed behind and so did the rest of us. We soared through the sky and rushed through the window, which was open. Hannah landed gracefully, while we slid and tried to slow down, almost knocking down to a woman in a flowing white gown and a golden flower crown.
"Your Majesty, here are the newbies," Hannah said, bowing down.
"Yeah, I can tell they're newbies. Heh! Hannah you can leave now! Thank you very much!" she said. Hannah left. Now it was us four, the person in the flower crown, and another angel with braided jet black hair.
"So, welcome to The Arc Of Light! I'm Miss Noelle, leader of the light angels. The black-haired beauty over there is Miss Penny, teacher of the light angels at Angel Academy," the golden flower crown person said. I could tell she was much more happier than Hannah.
"Miss Noelle, I don't know if you know us or not, but I'm Lyon Fullbuster, the golden haired one is Zoe Gi, the brown haired one is Xander Walters; Hannah Walters sister, and the red haired one is Faith," Lyon introduced.
"I know, guys. I've been watching you for a long time through my palm," she said.
"Through your palm?" Faith wondered.
"Oh, I forgot, you don't know me very well... I have long term sight abilities. Such as this. Come here, children," Miss Noelle said. We scrambled around her throne and stared at her left hand. Soon, a boxed image appeared of another angel at some school trying to control their flying.
"That is SO cool!" Xander exclaimed.
"I guess it is, but its nothing compared to your elemental talents and many more. You see, angels aren't really servants, more life mutations and powers in one person. Angels don't come very often in this world. And if they do, we have to make sure they don't become a fallen angel and become one of the Dark Angels," Noelle said.
"Wait, what's a dark angel?" Lyon asked.
"Dark Angels are the leaders of the dark society. Leader is Shadow Wing, the worst of them all. His goal in life is to kill everyone except for the Dark Society and Arc of Light," Miss Noelle explained.
"That doesn't make any sense! Why wouldn't he kill us?" Lyon said.
"He wants a full out war between us. Light v.s. Dark. We have to stop this obviously. We can't have every being die on Earth. God made those. We can't let his creation go to waste!" Miss Noelle explained.
"Who's in the Dark Society?" I asked.
"Well...there are the Dark Angels, who are the strongest, followed by the werewolves and vampires, then the ghouls and zombies. There's one werewolf there who is a spy on our side. When he sees you and he says the phrase "Justice For The Light" you know he's trustworthy," she explained.
"Who's on our side?" I asked.
"The Light Angels, who are us, spirits, wizards, witches, and mutations," Miss Noelle answered.
"Wait, let me absorb all this info. You're Miss Noelle, leader of the Light. Shadow Wing is the leader of the Dark. Shadow Wing wants a full fledge war of us, but he first has to kill the humans, which he is already. We have to stop him and the Dark Society with us, The Arc of Light. In the Dark Society, they have the fallen-" Faith said.
"Dark," Xander corrected.
"-dark angels, werewolves, zombies, vampires, and ghouls. We have the Light Angels, witches, wizards and mutations," Faith continued.
"Correct, correct, correct!" Miss Noelle said happily.
"Is that everything?" I asked.
"Um... I think- Oh, wait! You have special skills with the elements. Elemental magic is very, very rare. You will all have special sessions to improve your skills. Along with your core classes. The tests you took? There's a bunch of data and we'll use that to place you in your core classes," Miss Noelle said.
"No math?" Lyon said.
"No math," she replied.
"Sweet! When do we begin?" I asked.
"Two days from now. Faith and Zoe, you'll be staying on room 711 floor seventeen in the girl's dorm. Lyon and Xander will stay 934 floor nine in the boys dorm," Miss Noelle said.
"Thanks! We'll get going then," Faith said. We outstretched our wings and flew our way out.
"Those kids, could it be the prophecy?" Miss Noelle wondered out loud.

Chapter 4
"Hannah? Is that you? You were taken by soldier years ago!" Xander yelled. I widened my eyes as well. Had she gone through the same thing we did?
"Xander...you're not dead?" the girl said, whom I guessed was Hannah.
"Xander, you need to explain things, right now!" I ordered.
"Now is not the good time to tell tales, right now, I must finish my duty and guide you to your destination," Hannah said gently.
"You still haven't explained the whole destination thing, you know," I reminded.
"Zoe Gi, you are looking at an ex-dark angel and new light angel. I am Hannah Walters, brother of Alexander Walter and daughter off Maria and Lois Walters. I am taking you to the Arc of Light, a kingdom of the Enlightened Ones, or light angels as others call it. Our mistress, Noelle Frence, has ordered me for me to bring you Elemental Users to her at once. You are also here to start training for coming expeditions and learning more about the history of the Darkened and Enlightened Ones," she said.
Lyon squeezed my hand. I could tell this was really confusing him, after all the times we've been together. Xander was astonished, not at The Arc Of Light, but at his sister. Faith was taking notes and writing down things needed to know on a notepad.
We walked through toward golden gates and stopped at the toll. Hannah just passed through the toll booth. I think I saw air ripple while she walked through.
"Aw...sweet! A magic door!" Xander yelled. He ran toward it and made it through, but finding himself back where he started.
"What?" he said.
"Are you okay, Xander?" Faith asked. "I'm okay," he replied, "Just confused." I think I saw a smile on Hannah's face.
"Younger brother, have you read the sign?" she said. I never even noticed the sign.
"The humblest of hearts may pass through the gate of light," I read out loud. Okay, so I focused.
I can't do this alone. I must get help, I thought, I need others to help me pass. I will stay low and will not boast. I kept thinking thoughts like that while I walked through the gates of light and found myself running into Hannah. I had did it.
Lyon made it through and so did Faith. Xander was still confused, but he found a way through.
"That first test is passed. The first clue to becoming an Enlightened One is to be humble and lowly. You can not have hubris amongst yourselves. Your next test is strategy and teamwork. You guys must find a way to go through the maze. I will be evaluating the time of yourselves. If one member doesn't make it back in time, your time will keep ticking until he or she is found. Ready begin!" Hannah said. Walls surrounded us and went up a few stories high. Plus, there was a ceiling so we couldn't fly over.
"Okay, this has got to be easy. Lyon, you can see ahead. Try using your eyesight to find our way through the maze. Everyone, watch Lyon's back and the rest of our's so no one gets hurt or lost," I said, "Lyon in the front, I'm second, Xander's third and Faith's fourth. Faith, you get the honor of watching Xander so he doesn't strand off. We can do this!" I extended my wings and so did they.
"By the Golden Bird's Wing!!!" I yelled. Everyone repeated and we started formation. Only a minute and a half had passed. We were going to do this.
Lyon made a left, then a right, then a right. Then, he paused and turned a left instead. We went on for like two minutes until we finally found Hannah, who was nodding.
"You peeps are the fastest people to ever run that maze. Incredible. Four minutes and three seconds," Hannah praised.
"It really wasn't us, it was Lyon. He's the one with great eyesight. We would be stranded in there if it weren't for him," Xander said.
"Staying humble, little brother. Good," Hannah mused.
"What now, Miss Hannah. Another test?" Faith said.
"Yes...there is one more. This test isn't those kinds of tests, but one that uses your talents. We will set up dummies and you will have to beat them anyway you want. One at a time. Faith, you're going first," Hannah said. Faith stepped forward, looking confident. Hannah pulled out five dummies and started the timer.
"Summon: Sword of the Wind!" she yelled. I was surprised. She pulled out a sword from no where. She sliced up the dummies with no trouble at all. Hannah stopped the timer and she returned the sword.
"Two minutes and twenty-four seconds," she said, "Xander!" He stepped up looking okay. Hannah replaced the dummies and started the timer. Since I've seen Xander use vines and stuff, I knew he was going to use vines to tangle and choke the dummies with them. He might even use poison. He finished in two minutes and fourteen seconds.
"Lyon Fullbuster!" Hannah yelled. Lyon strode up, looking as strong as ever. The dummies came out and Hannah started the timer. Lyon punched, kinked, and karate chopped each one until all of them were gone.
"One minute and forty-three seconds," Hannah barked. Lyon beamed and sat down.
"Zoe Gi!" Hannah said. I walked up there, feeling light headed. The dummies came out and Hannah started the timer.
Think: Fire. Flames. Burns. Light. Heat.
I burst into flames and ran into each dummy. I cooled myself off and looked at everyone. They all had their mouths open, even Hannah.
"Thirty-two seconds," she said. I walked back to my seat as if nothing happened.
"So, Lyon, like the show?" I asked.
"Xander...you're not dead?" the girl said, whom I guessed was Hannah.
"Xander, you need to explain things, right now!" I ordered.

Chapter 3
"So, Lyon..." I mumbled.
"What?" he asked.
"Remember what that butt head at the Judgement of Death place said. About the Dark Society? If we're angels of light, does that mean there are angels of darkness too. Plus, evil creatures like werewolves and ghouls?" I asked.
"Good point," Xander said, who flew up next to us.
You're wondering: Wait? "Fly"?
It seems that we're angels and not regular teens. We were put to death many times, one of them being an accident. It seems we were stuck in the prison which was kid's hell for being "angels of light". I have no clue what that means, but since angels can fly, that's what the wings are for.
"Could you guys stop talking? I'm hungry!" Faith said. Faith and Xander were some of our jailbreak companions.
"We're almost there, Faith," Lyon said gently. We flew in silence until we came upon a rocky cliff along the Pacific shoreline. I let my wings cool off, as it seems they were hot and sticky. Even though each of our wings had to be more than ten feet long, it was a big cave and we could fit everything in.
"So, what are we going to do?" Lyon asked. I thought.
"First, we have to get more information. I mean, this angel thing just popped out of the blue. You and I have questions and I know we want answers. We're going to track down another angel, after we rest off a bit. After that, maybe we could find our parents," I explained. I thought I did pretty well.
"But, I don't know who my parents are. I've forgotten who they are after all those years!" Xander whined.
"Me too. Xander said I was brainwashed and I or him have no clue!" Faith wailed.
"Calm down, guys. You can stay with us," Lyon said.
"But, for now. The important thing is to find more information. Info is the key," I said, resting my hand against the rocky wall of the cave/cliff.
"Uh...Zoe?" Xander said as he pointed on the arm I'm leaning on. I looked at it.
It was in the wall!!!
"Um...can you take your hand out?" Lyon asked. I pulled it out and stared at it.
"Can you put your face in it?" Faith asked excitedly.
"What?! I possibly won't breathe!!!" I yelled.
"No, this cliff could be magical. Maybe its a portal and we can step through it and get somewhere else!" she said happily. I shot a glance at Lyon. He shrugged. I guess it was worth a try.
I stuck my head in the wall, hoping that I wouldn't die with my face stuck in rock. Instead, I almost got blinded. There was a bright light there that shone fiercely. I took my head out immediately and rubbed my eyes.
"Are you okay?" Xander asked.
"I almost got blinded by some rock, what do you think?" I retorted.
"Let me try," Lyon asked. I looked up.
"Wait, Lyon!" I warned, but he stuck his head in anyway. I pulled on him until he popped out of the wall.
"You're right, Zoe. I think my eyes could have burst if I stayed there much longer," he muttered.
"Lemme try!" Faith blurted.
"NO!!! Lyon and I are hurt already.. We don't need blinded people on our team. Let me try again. If I die, at least you guys will live and I'll remember that I almost saved your lives!" I said. I stuck my head in the wall. This time, the light was gone. Instead I saw a beautiful brunette with straightened hair. I cautiously walked through and saw myself in a flowing white gown tied with a gold belt. I was wearing gold slippers. Not my taste, but it was okay.
"Are you Zoe Gi? The one Mistress Noelle has talked about?" she asked.
"Er...I guess so," I said.
"And if you are Zoe, then where are your companions?" she asked again. I could hear their voices yelling to me to come back.
"Er...outside. Um...who are you and what is this place?" I asked.
"First, get your friends. Then, I will lead you to the destination," she said. I walked back out the portal thingy.
"C'mon, guys. It's safe in here," I said as I stuck my head out. Lyon widened his eyes, but he followed in. The rest did the same. They popped into the portal. Lyon's eyes widened even more when he saw what he was wearing. He was wearing actual sandals, and a robe that was white rimmed with gold. I guess the boys wore the outfit Lyon's wearing and the girl's wear the one I'm wearing.
"Hey, Xander-" Faith started, but she stopped abruptly when she saw Xander gaping at the brunette.
"Hannah?" he said.
"Xander..." her eyes widening, but her expression not changing.
"What?" he asked.
"Remember what that butt head at the Judgement of Death place said. About the Dark Society? If we're angels of light, does that mean there are angels of darkness too. Plus, evil creatures like werewolves and ghouls?" I asked.

Chapter 2.5
"The newbies are doing pretty well. They've been able to discover their wings the moment they learned about the angels," Miss Penny said. The Leader of The Light Society, Noelle, nodded in agreement.
"Especially Zoe Gi. She has done spectacular work and discovering her power very easily. She saw her fire element talent. An element talent angel. It's been a few hundred years since I've seen an element user," Noelle said.
"I agree, ma'am. Everyone is doing just fine. They're flying pretty well too. Zoe's wings are beautiful. Pure white..." Miss Penny agreed.
"Of course, but that also worries me. No one has had pure white wings since The Third-" Noelle started.
"Shh! We must be careful. We're not aloud to talk about her. The name's "taboo", remember?" Miss Penny whispered.
"I still feel sorry for her. My only daughter turned into-" Noelle started again.
"I told you to please be quiet. Please!" Miss Penny begged.
"Anyway, about Xander, Faith, Zoe, and, Lyon, we need to bring them and convince them to join the Arc of Light," Noelle said.
"We need a messenger...who should we bring?" Miss Penny asked.
"Isn't it obvious? We use Hannah Walters" Noelle exclaimed.
"Her? We told her Xander was gone. What happens if she betrays the Light because of the lies we told her. Her heart could become infected with the dark!" Miss Penny yelled.
"Trust me, Penny. Hannah will not betray us. She's been...a dark angel before," Noelle whispered.

Chapter 2
I've been dragged to doctor appointments, detention, and to my neighbor Georgia's house, but I've never been dragged to prison.
I'm strong and quick. I punched two guards in the face before they took my hands and tied them. I kicked someone in the butt and tried to run out. Then, I was shot by a stun gun and I was out.
I woke up to the scent of rat. Sewer rat. I got up immediately. I may not be afraid of heights, roller coasters, and guns, but I'm afraid of rats and small ugly creatures. I looked around cautiously and stepped back until I bumped into another person's body.
"Zoe?" a familiar voice said. I recognized that voice as...
"Lyon," I replied. I turned around and saw his dark eyes hiding behind his brown wavy hair full of fear. I bet mine was too.
"Why are you here?" I asked. Lyon shrugged.
"After you left, I kept riding until it was 4:00 PM. Then, I went home. No one was there except for guards that said I was under arrest for crimes under the Dark Society. Have you heard of them?" Lyon explained. I shrugged. All I know is that the military should charge the jailhouse and trash it.
"Same thing happened here. But, I don't know why. All I thought was I wasn't going to give up. I fought until they shot me with a stun gun," I said. Lyon and I sat down, feeling defeated.
"You're not alone. We're all under arrest," a young girl's voice said. I turned around and saw a beat up little girl with red hair and freckles.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I don't know. I don't know my name or anything about me at all. I've been here for a long time. Ever since I was a baby, I was trapped in this place," she said.
"Well, I'm Lyon, and this is Zoe right here. What happened?" Lyon asked.
"I think I know what happened," a boy's voice said. He was about the same age as us. In fact, both the redhead and the blonde boy were about the same age.
"I'm Xander. I've been here when I was five. The redhead over there...she knew stuff. She was very smart. She knew how to speak and everything. They say her name was Faith, but...they brainwashed her. They fed her lies, " the boy said.
"We all have special abilities here. Faith, I guess, was really smart, Lyon can hear and see things very far away, I can run, have super strength, and can glow, and you, Xander...you can heal yourself, can't you?" I summed up. Xander's eyes widened.
"How did you know?" he asked.
"Sort of obvious. You aren't as beat up as Faith," I said. He grinned. We started to laugh until I heard the sound of a gunshot. A cry of pain...then silence. Our laughter stopped. We stared at one another and looked sadly. Whoever got shot was gone.
"Next: Lyon Fullbuster, Zoe Gi, Prisoner 156, and Xander Kipp," the speakers blared. They had been calling up names and no one has returned this hell. Our gates unlocked and we stepped outside and walked through the door everyone was walking through.
We found ourselves in a judgement room. The guards shoved us in cages and we tried to bend our bars, so that we could escape. Since we couldn't, I waited until the big event was going to come.
A man walked in front of us and smiled, "Welcome, children. I am the Dark Judge. Welcome to the Judgement of Death. Your life is at our hands."
Check this out: He was the man from my dream.
Flashbacks of him clutching my throat danced through my mind. Guess dreams could become reality. I've never told anyone this.
"How come you're here? You're the man from my dream!" I yelled through the balls. Lyon whispered, "What dreams?"
"Shut up, young lady. You have no right to speak in the Judgement Of Death!" a guard said. He put his hand through the bars to slap me, but I bit his hand instead. I think I heard a few bones crush. I took my bite off and he caressed his hand. The Dark Judge looked furious.
"Nice one, Zoe," Xander said. I did the "ok" sign back at him.
"Now, let us begin your future," the Dark Judge said stiffly. The audience settled down.
"You have shown to be an angels of light. These angels are banned from our existence. The punishment is death. Anyone on their side?" the Dark Judge said.
"NOT GUILTY!!!" we yelled.
"Anyone oppose?" the Dark Judge asked. Everyone in the audience raised their hands.
"What?!" Xander yelled.
"That's not fair!" Faith added.
"What kind of judgement is that!?" Lyon roared.
I was too busy thinking to yell something. My mind was roaring in pain. I was gripping the balls so hard it hurt. Everything I thought turned into a golden light. That's when I heard the gasps.
"Zoe...what happened?" Lyon uttered. I had no clue what happened. I expected to see myself still stuck in a cage, but I found myself able to stand up.
I was out of the cage!!!
I picked up the stupid Dark Judge's hammer and smashed it on each Lyon's cage. It broke open and he rose in anger. Together, we broke Xander's and Faith's cages. Then, I found myself in a fiery blaze of fire. Lyon was having a rush with water. Faith was holding what seemed to be balls of air and Xander was wrapped in vines.
"Whoa," Faith said.
"Whoa is right. Let's get out of here!" I said. Together, we jumped out the window.
"Wait, why did we jump out the window?!" Lyon yelled.
Great. First death punishment. Now falling to our death, willingly.
"Didn't the guy say anything about being angels of light? Do we have wings?" Xander yelled. It was worth a try.
"Everyone concentrate! Think flying thoughts!" I screamed.
I thought of birds. Airplanes. Balloons. We were ten feet above the ground when we found ourselves flying through the misty air.
"High five!" Faith yelled. We all high fixed everyone. We escaped both ways of dying.
"Now, what do we do?" Xander asked.
Oh great, one problem after the other.
"We're going to find a place to rest. I need to recover from trauma," I said.
"That's a good plan. I saw a cliff a few miles from here," Lyon said.
"Okay then, let's go!" I said. Together, we took off in the sky flying away.
Little did I know more problems were going to come up.
